Hi, I’m Mayonesa – or simply Maya.
Artist & photographer.
Born and rooted in the Czech Republic, but I’ve always had a passion for exploring the world. It’s this love for travel and discovery that fuels my spirit—that’s when I pack my bags and head off in search of sunshine and new adventures.
I studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Prague, but my dream was always to design interiors and maybe even become an architect. I never ended up working in the field I studied, but interior design has stayed with me as a creative hobby I love.
Later, I spent two semesters studying graphic design and worked as a designer for two years, which gave me a whole new perspective on storytelling through visuals.
Dance has always been a part of me, something I’ve loved since I was a kid.
Over time, it became more than just a passion,
it turned into my profession.
As a dancer, performer, instructor, and choreographer, movement is at the heart of everything I do. It’s also the reason I never pursued the career I studied for – my love for dance simply took over.
Photography started as something I just wanted to try out.
I’ve always loved learning new things and treating life like a playground where you can keep growing and evolving. I need to create, explore, and constantly challenge myself.
What began as a curiosity soon turned into a real passion, and I dove deeper by attending countless workshops and seminars to sharpen my skills.
For me, it’s about taking bits and pieces from everywhere—different techniques, experiences, and inspirations—and weaving them together into something truly beautiful.
Every photoshoot with me is more than just snapping pictures—it’s about creating a space where you feel truly seen, comfortable, and effortlessly yourself. No awkward posing, no forced smiles—just real, beautiful moments that reflect who you are.
